space philospophy

Livingfamilygreat room - call it what you will, it’s where the family gathers, where kids and dogs are welcome. There may be a few Louis XIV spaces out there, but for most of us this is a comfort center. There’s usually a TV, often not in sight when not in use. In design terms, these rooms are strong on function, on serving the family, which doesn’t mean we don’t want it to be a visual knockout. The furniture tends to be durable, fun, curl-up-comfortable, cozy. That’s the word: this is the cozy zone.
